There's no party like a New Year's Eve party—especially at the turn of the decade. Here are some local NYE bashes to help you kick off the New Year in style.
Noon Year's Eve with the kids at Knock Knock Children's Museum
This Tuesday, Dec. 31, the museum will hold special events for the kids, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., so you can celebrate with them before going to some adult parties.
Admission is $14. The Knock Knock Children's Museum is at 1900 Dalrymple Drive.
Red Stick Revelry
Red Stick Revelry is a multi-faceted extravaganza downtown complete with live music, fireworks and a brand-new laser light show. The event begins with Red Stick Rising at North Boulevard Town Square, and the main festivities begin at 9 p.m., when six 3-D lasers will project over the audience while synchronized to live music by the band Phat Hat. As midnight strikes, the light show will be accompanied by the ceremonial dropping of the Red Stick and a fireworks display over the Mississippi River.
Tsunami's New Year's Eve Sparkle Party
You'll be hard-pressed to find a better view this New Year's than the Shaw Center rooftop for Tsunami's bash. Expect a DJ, photo booth, buffet, hors d'oeuvres, sushi stations, two bars, three drink tickets and a Champagne toast. Tickets are $100 pre-sale or $125 day of the event.

Live music and an open bar—what else can you ask for? L'Auberge Casino & Hotel brings its annual bash to kickstart 2020. Tickets are $40 to get into the Events Center with music by Pants Party and an open bar all night.
The Roaring 2020: New Year's Party at George's Place
George's Place hosts The Roaring 2020: New Year's Party with a delightfully '20s-themed celebration. In addition to performances by the Krewe of Divas, this bash hands out Champagne at midnight to accompany those holiday kisses.
New Year's Eve at Crowne Plaza Executive Center Baton Rouge
The Crowne Plaza Executive Center rings in 2020 with Carbon Copy Band, Chase Tyler Band and The Eddie Smith Band. But that's not all—guests can enjoy a Louisiana dinner buffet, dancing and an open bar. The standard staycation room package starts at $179 per person.
New Year's Eve at The Radio Bar
Mid City's hippest bar will have drink specials and music from DJ Bird Tuesday, Dec. 31. You can dance into the new year in style, 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

Soji's New Year's Eve Dinner

Tsunami's New Year's Eve Sparkle Party
Sushi at midnight? Yes, please! Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge hosts its annual restaurant and rooftop terrace party on New Year's Eve.
General admission tickets include access to terrace festivities, a Champagne toast at midnight, buffet-style food, sushi stations, two bars, a DJ, a photo booth and the best view in Baton Rouge.
Buy general admission tickets ahead of time for $100 per person or day-of tickets for $125 per person. You can even score a VIP experience for $150 per person, which includes a 5-course meal in the main dining area.
Noon Year's Eve at Knock Knock Museum
Here's a kid-friendly daytime celebration option. Knock Knock Children's Museum hosts a New Year's event at noon for all families. Join for games and activities, like a balloon drop in Knock Knock Square.
The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cost for entry is the same as museum admission: visitors $14, ages 0-23 months FREE.
NYE Bash at L'Auberge Casino Hotel
L'Auberge Casino Hotel hosts its NYE Bash in the Event Center. Visit their open bar and enjoy live music by the band Pants Party.
Doors open at 10:30 p.m.. Show starts at 11:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 a.m. Tickets are $40 per person and you must be 21 or older to enter. Buy your tickets here.
New Years Eve at the Crowne Plaza
